Stewart Yearley with Ch Lowbrook Llaffan JW ShCM took best of breed at the Midland Counties Canine Society Championship Show today. The Bedlington Terriers were judged by Mrs C Reaston.

Harry who looked stunning, went on to take second place in the terrier group judged by Dr M. Boggia- Black. What a day for the Bedlingtons! Many congratulations Stewart, it is fantastic to see Harry being so highly placed among the top winning terriers. I bet champagne corks are popping tonight!

Brailes village hall.
As you can see this is a wide area, there should be enough room to accommodate grooming tables along the side walls, a walk way and then a row of chairs along the inside edge of the badminton court.

Need a dog friendly caravan? How about this. We had a great day out at the NEC Caravan and Motorhome Show. Unfortunately, not many manufacturers cater for the multiple dog owner but our choice of new van would be the Adria 452 with a garage box, an ideal space for several dogs. This caravan has two raised fixed single beds which allows for a large storage area underneath. The downside to this van was the tiny shower and combined toilet, but at the end of the day having a designated dog area inside the caravan is a real bonus. All European caravans felt bright and airy with modern interiors and clever lighting.

This is a photo of our local village hall at Brailes, as you can see this is a good sized hall with a generous car parking area. There is a large kitchen and another area that could be used for grooming. Another bonus to this venue is a large camping field with a wooden pavilion housing a cloakroom and showers. Perhaps this is an ideal place for one of the Bedlington Clubs to host their shows. Brailes is about 12 miles west of Banbury which lies on the M40 and is about 20 miles south of Birmingham. What do you think?
